Since its founding as a local paint and hardware store in 1919, the United Coatings brand family of products was continually expanded upon to serve customers with field offices, technical service and representation on an international basis.
United Coatings began manufacturing paint in the 1920′s and expanded into specialty coatings in the 1950′s. As coatings technology evolved during the 1960′s, and expanded through the 70′s and 80′s, UNITED developed a wide range of high performance systems, including numerous elastomeric rubbers. The United Coatings product line continues to be a leader in the protective coatings market, supplying a full line of Roofing, Architectural and Industrial products.

Acrysheen
Acrysheen is a water-based, penetrating sealer designed to produce a clear, semi-gloss surface sheen. It is manufactured from non-yellowing, advanced acrylic resins to form a durable finish that provides long-term water-repellency, increased dirt pick-up resistance and weather protection.
Acrysheen’s low viscosity allows it to “wet in” and lock into the substrate. It will allow moisture vapor to escape from the building interior, yet provides excellent damp-proofing characteristics on the exterior.
The appearance will remain uniform, eliminating any blotchiness from water staining, even after years of service.

Canyon Tone Stain
Canyon Tone Stain corrects natural color imperfections in the substrate by imparting permanent color uniformity plus water-repellency, without disturbing the natural texture of the substrate. An acrylic polymer blended with silicone resins, designed to seal concrete and masonry surface with a water-repellent, color stable finish. Able to lock into surface pores due to its low viscosity and penetration ability.
Forms an opaque film, yet it is much thinner than typical paint finishes, allowing it to wear like the natural substrate. Will not peel, flake or crack. Suitable for cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, GRC concrete, masonry and stucco substrates.
Canyon Tone Stain is available in a wide range of colors, including a selection of metallic finishes.

Diathon
Diathon is an advanced acrylic elastomer coating specifically designed for use on sprayed polyurethane roofs. Diathon was developed for protecting sprayed polyurethane foam insulation from degradation caused by normal weathering, aging and ultraviolet exposure.
It combines high solids emulsion polymers, reinforcing laminar pigments, biocides and non-migrating fire retardants for superior durability, weatherproofing, mildew resistance, ultraviolet resistance and fire resistance.
